Project Details:

Created for Ross's final year University project, Colby is an interactive DVD film which allows the audience to take part in the choices made by the main characters and eventually the outcome of the story.

The audience help guide the choices made by John Colby (played by Conor Alexander) as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend Louise (Claire Beresford) from a vicious kidnapper. Colby is set tasks by the kidnapper in order to get Louise back - the audience can help John to rescue her or lead him to much nastier situations with no happy ending.

Music:

Colby features a varied score using bare strings for emphasis of emotional moments and character themes. These themes are carried over into the action sequences where electronic sounds replace the strings for a livelier, energetic feel to accompany Colby's actions & increasingly frenzied mood.
